Zazie Beetz, born 1991 Born in 1991, she was raised in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who immigrated to USA in 1990. United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker from New York. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz went on to pursue in her French education through Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. The auditions began immediately following having graduated from college. After a few auditions in Atlanta she was offered the part of Van. Beetz was born in Berlin and was the daughter of a German father as well as an African American Mother. They both grew up in New York. Zazie began appearing on community and local stages during her childhood. As a teenager she started acting, and eventually became a professional actor. Zendaya is a breakout star on Disney Channel Zendaya is a dancer who has definitely found her way to success. The actor and dancer got her first big break-through role in 2010 when she was cast along with Bella Thorne as Rocky Blue in the TV series "Shake it up". Zendaya's veg-eating journey began at the age of eleven when she went to the local slaughterhouse while on an outing with her dad. She told PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals being stuffed in there in a cage waiting to be killed. "I would never believed this was the way I'd obtained my food!" Since then, she has been on an all-vegan diet.
