Allison Brooks Janney has been an American actress for over twenty years. The American actress is well-known for her performances on the stage and on screen. Allison Janney rose to fame after nearly twenty years on regional stages. Her character in the role of White House press secretary C.J. was a huge success. Gregg in The West Wing (1999-2006) an acclaimed and well-loved TV show. Allison Janney is a natural late flowerer. Her driving licence until she was 17 - a full year later than most of her fellow students in Ohio. Her first date was not until she was enrolled in at university. Her audition started at the age of 23 but didn't make her debut on screen until the mid-30s, despite having been regularly appearing since. Faris had said in the beginning that she would be leaving the show in order to pursue different career options. Now, Faris is opening up about the reasons behind her decision. This wasn't a decision she did consciously. Janney is sporting a wig since the start of the show, was not worried. Fallon stated "'Guys I've been wearing the wig from season one, but nobody had ever heard of it. So now everyone in the world is aware.'" Janney wants to bring the wig back. During the early seasons there was a report that she was earning as much as $125,000 per episode. In the third and forth season, her Co-star Allison Janey was earning an estimated $200,000 per show.
