April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July. She began guitar and piano lessons at seven years old. Her interest in songwriting was awakened. When April was 12, she composed her first single Different. At the age of 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing songs and honed her musicianship skills. Then she began to take trips to write with her father, who lived in NY as well as LA. April was also able to add other themes in the tune "Take My Hand" for some of friends who dealt with concerns like peer pressure disabilities, and even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer, as well as being a partner with clean beauty brands Ilia and YSL, has cultivated an impressive fan base. She has a disability that is a component of her persona, however it's not the entire image. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't shy away from her status as disabled however, it doesn't make a point of it. What message does it convey? It is important to remember that we all have numerous faces. Our identities are diverse and we're much more than our bodies. It's not my intention to let that define me I don't intend to become an influencer where that's all I discuss because there are so many other aspects to my life. Lockhart speaks via video from her house in Nashville. This doesn't interfere with my daily life. It's all normal, and I have learned to adjust. But, I consider that it is a crucial part of myself. Self-acceptance is a long marathon but Lockhart truly inspires me in this regard. Lockhart admits to having been through a series of phases with her physique, feeling insecure at times to wear clothing that displayed her arms. Today, she wears anything she'd like. And she posts her photos on social media. Self-love, according to her, is like a journey. "I don't think you'll ever get there," she said. However, I believe that's the case for everyone, whatever they are struggling with. I think that having people close to you who truly know you and see your feelings is crucial as they'll be the ones who will remind you what you concerned about?
