Her birth date was March 29, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is American and is of Mexican American heritage. Since she was a child she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina started playing golf at the age of 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her secondary education. In the high school level, she was able to win the New Mexico state golf tournament. The volleyball abilities of her were acknowledged at the national scale. She attended in the University of Texas in 2003. She won all of the events she took part in throughout her senior year. Through her college career, she won her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and Female UTEP athlete of the year.
