Gina Joy Carano began her career as a fighter. She was also dubbed The Female Face of MMA. Her first job was as an Muay Thai fighter and won the title of"The Face" for Women's MMA. She is an experienced Muay Thai athlete with a record that includes 12 victories, a loss, and one draw. It is the first American woman to be awarded the title in Thailand at Muay Thai. As a child she received training in jazz dance, ballet as well as horse riding. At high school, she was a star in softball and basketball.
